QuTS hero is the operating system for high-end and enterprise QNAP NAS models. Here is how it works, you download the app from the iOS App Store or Google Play, both are free Apps. My cable provider Aliant Television in Atlantic Canada lets me use this app, but I am sure it is available with other providers.
